Table Saw Safety Test

Directions:
Using the drop down menus, select the correct part name that each arrow is pointing to on the machine. Be sure to select a name for each part. Do not use the same part name twice.


 

 

  

 




  

Directions:
Read each statement carefully and decide if it is True or False. Be sure to answer all questions. When finished, enter your FIRST AND LAST NAME along with your teacher's email address and click the submit button.

6. Ask for the instructor's permission before using the table saw.

7. Check that all safety guards are in place and working correctly prior to starting.

8. Make all adjustments while the Table Saw is running.

9. NEVER use the miter guage and fence together.

10. Raise the saw blade as high as possible for every cut.

11. A push stick is not needed for ripping narrow materials.

12. Stand in the line of the cut when operating.

13. It is NEVER acceptable to reach across the blade.

14. When finished, raise the blade as high as possible before leaving.

15. Wait until the blade has come to a complete stop before cleaning the saw.
